Dear Parents, Guardians, Families, and Friends of Laney,
My name is Anne Wagemaker and this is my second year at Lucy Laney. I am thrilled to be here and to be teaching literacy. I love to read and am excited to help your students grow their love of reading!
I graduated from Loras College in 2004 and moved to Chicago where I lived for eleven years. While in Chicago I taught lower elementary for six years and coached new teachers for two years. I moved back to Minnesota the summer of 2015 to be closer family and to begin work at Laney.
I look forward to a positive year of learning, personal growth, and fun! If you ever have any comments, concerns, or feedback for me, my door is always open. You are always welcome here in room c216 Your child is my priority and I know that YOU know them best. I am always able to meet with you to discuss your child's education.
I can be reached:
I know that if we work together, this will be a successful year for your student. I can't wait to get started!
