3rd Grade Special Education
My Family

Welcome families and students!

My name is Brandi Grimm and I am the 3rd grade special education resource teacher and I support the students with special needs. This is my seventh year at Lucy Laney, as well as my seventh year as a teacher. I have had the honor of working in multiple grade levels at Laney. Working with students has proven to be a challenging and rewarding experience for me. I enjoy building relationships with all of the students, while also growing as an educator in the general education classrooms.

This is my second year in a row working with the wonderful 3rd grade team, and I am looking forward to what this year has in store for us!

If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at Brandi.Grimm@mpls.k12.mn.us

A Few Things About Ms. Grimm

I grew up in a small town in Southeast Minnesota with my parents and my younger sister. When I am not teaching I enjoy reading, cooking, exercising, traveling, and coaching Special Olympics in St. Paul.

Concordia Graduation 2018
I attended Winona State University to earn my degree in Special Education, Learning Disabilities and Developmental Disabilities, and graduated in 2013. In December 2018 I graduated from a program at Concordia University, St. Paul, in which I received a masters degree in Special Education, as well as an Autism Spectrum Disorder license.
